When we first met Pua she was neglected and living in deplorable conditions. She had a severe case of demodectic mange, ear mites, a heart murmur and fleas. With the generous donations from our supporters, we were able to get her much needed medicine and start her on food and vitamins to help her skin. Most importantly, through KAWS supporter Carol Ann, we were able to connect with Scott and Diane who nursed her back to health and brought her into their home permanently. Now Pua lives in a house, has her own bed, and leads a peaceful existence with her Chihuahua sister, Princess, and 13 cat brothers and sisters. They all enjoy daily walks in their lush tropical yard in Anahola. We are delighted to see Pua has blossomed into a beautiful flower.
