Cammie came to KAWS emaciated, highly anemic and honestly, we weren’t sure she would make it….well did she prove us wrong for even letting that thought cross our minds! We also found out that her white face did not make her a senior dog, it is just her markings and she is actually around 4-5 years old.
Within a couple of weeks Cammie was thriving, putting weight on and her bloodwork was improving tremendously. She began playing with the other dogs. Getting excited for mealtime, and in general, enjoying life for all it has to give. She was ready to move from KAWS headquarters into a foster home!
Her foster family welcomed her with open arms and continues to show her how good life can be with people that care about her welfare.
Cammie is a low key gal that loves to play, loves to cuddle with people and other dogs, likes to sun bathe, and enjoys going on adventures with her people. She did well with the cats at KAWS head quarters.
Now that she has her health back and is spayed, she is ready to find her forever family!
