We first met Norman back in April, 2015 at the local shelter and were instantly smitten with this fun-loving plott hound/pit mix. After nearly four months in the shelter, Norman’s day finally arrived…or so we thought. He was adopted only to be returned a week later. Sadly, Norman was not placed back on the adoption floor and his days were numbered. We brought Norman into the KAWS family to board and train at Bark Bark Backyard, and it was soon apparent that this easy-going boy was ready for a home to call his own. Our good friend, fellow humane society volunteer, and KAWS supporter, Ann, who had worked with Norman since his first days at the shelter, offered to foster Norman until he found his forever home. Ann and her family showed Norman the joys of being a housedog surrounded by loving people. They soon realized that Norman was meant to be with them permanently. “I had no idea back in July that Norman would be living with me and that I would be head over heels in love with him,” says Ann. We are happy to add Norman and Ann & family to the KAWS success stories and wish them all a lifetime of happiness and good times.
